| This just seems to fit right now...
You're in a better place, I've heard a thousand times And at least a thousand times I've rejoiced for you But the reason why I'm broken, the reason why I cry Is how long must I wait to be with you
I close my eyes and I see your face If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow I've never been more homesick than now
Help me Lord cause I don't understand your ways The reason why I wonder if I'll ever know But, even if you showed me, the hurt would be the same Cause I'm still here so far away from home
I close my eyes and I see your face If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow I've never been more homesick than now
In Christ, there are no goodbyes And in Christ, there is no end So I'll hold onto Jesus with all that I have To see you again To see you again
And I close my eyes and I see your face If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow Won't you give me strength to make it through somehow Won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now... | | |
| It has come... today I graduate from high school.
I've learned so much through the years. I've grown in so many ways through so many trials and celebrations. But for the Jenison class of 2006, I leave you with this (even tho its not leaving you because we have ALL FRIGGIN SUMMER LONG!) No matter what you do in life, make a difference. Make a difference in the little things you do. Shoot a smile to someone that seems to have a bad day, or offer to lend a hand to someone in need. I challenge you all in what ever you do in life to change for the better. Yes, make a difference in the world, but more importantly make a difference in people's lives. High school, when you look past all the drama, is about connecting with each other and the friendships that will last a lifetime. So strive to inspire someone everyday because you may have no idea what they are going through. And finally, I say It's not goodbye... because the relationships we've withheld amongst each other will truly last a lifetime. Much love class of '06

| Quite possibly the greatest weekend of my life. Although it didnt involve much sleep, which wasnt cool.
First of all friday singin down at MYAF in Kzoo was awesome with the guys. and to top it off we had our EK double header rained out which left a free friday night. which reminds me... 21-0. Hung out with the fellas at palmi's and reminisced about some good ftball days and the great college life to come, love good talks.
Saturday, worked a short 3 hr shift in the mornin then began my pre-prom pampering. Picked up the most gorgeous date in school at around 4:30 ish and after a few pics we headed to our limo with a bunch of others from our group. Stretch lincoln navvy was great. we drove around for a bit downtown and hit up the firestation for some pics which was sweet. then it was off to Judson's Steakhouse at the BOB where we hacked off both our legs and paid for dinner, it was so worth it tho, great food. Prom was just straight up amazing at DeVos place. once again danced with the most beautiful date at the prom and took pictures and what not. My boy Mike Stoll crowned prom King, just straight up sweet. Senior circle at prom was great, just looked around the circle of all of us and remembered a memory i had with each and everyone of you. I love you all. afterwards riss and i went to liz's for a bit and then just went back to rissa's for the night.
Sunday, woke up to the most beautiful prom date in school and had a marvelous breakfast cooked by her wonderful mother. although i did have to work 12-6 i got out a lil early and had a lil surprise for rissa. We got all dressed up nicely and took a lil drive down to Kzoo for the phantom of the opera at wmu. Amazing show and once again, amazing date. She loved it and so did I.
Marissa Callie Fellows, thankyou for a great weekend.
